South Simcoe Police say body was found in area where 15-year-old Bradford resident Siem Zerezghi was reported missing
Police say the body was found in the water near Professor Day Drive and the Eighth Line area in Bradford, near items believed to belong to Zerezghi
« The South Simcoe Police Department would like to thank the community for the tremendous amount of support and assistance to police and family, » Acting Deputy Chief John Van Dyke told reporters on Friday evening

Van Dyke said a post-mortem examination should be done to confirm the identity of the person found
Rob Keffer, Mayor of the City of Bradford West Gwillimbury, issued a statement on Friday evening to express his condolences to Zerezghi’s family
« My deepest sympathies go out to all who were touched by this tragic loss, including his friends and all the young people who knew Siem, » he wrote.
« This community has come together in recent days to seek Siem and pray for his good recovery, and we are now meeting to mourn him. »
Zerezghi was last seen on surveillance video around 7:45 a.m.m Saturday heading north on Longview Drive
Police previously said Zerezghi’s parents said they last saw their son at their home in Professor Day and Northgate’s readers area overnight in October 23 They noticed he was missing the next morning and reported his disappearance to the police.
