Portblair: An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale shook the southeast of Portblair on the Andoman and Nicobar Islands in the early hours of the morning, announced the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
According to the NCS the earthquake reached a depth of 100 kilometers and occurred around 5:31 am.

An earthquake of the same magnitude struck southeast of Port Blair in early November – though its tremors were 10 miles deep, unlikely that the significantly deeper tremors of the most recent quake were.
