CM – A wintry end of the year with rain, snow, wind and cold in a mix

Rain will fall in the lower elevations where we could see an accumulation of up to an inch by Saturday morning.

Some heavy snowfall is anticipated in the mountains where almost 2 ‘snow over 8,500’ could fall .

Winter storm warnings and winter weather warnings were issued for the mountains of southeast Arizona from late Friday morning through Saturday morning.

On Saturday night the skies will clear, dropping the lows overnight through Sunday morning into the upper 20s.
