CM – ACT records 16 new COVID-19 cases

Residents face long queues for tests across Canberra, some of which are forced to close early after reaching capacity.

Nearly 6,000 results were processed on Monday amid demand for tests reached a level not reached since August.

The number of active cases in the state capital has almost doubled in the past week.

The vaccination rates remain largely unchanged, 98.4 percent of the population aged 12 and over received a double dose.
