Prime Minister Narendra Modi canceled his events in Punjab today after he was stuck on an overpass for around 20 minutes because of protesters.
Pictures showed the convoy of Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel stranded on the overpass the prime minister’s car is fenced off.
PM Modi returned to Bathinda Airport for the violation, the Home Office said in a statement accusing the congressional government.
« The prime minister sat up for 15 to 20 minutes an overpass. This was a big mistake in the prime minister’s security, « said the Home Office.

The ruling BJP referred to this as reported « the biggest vulnerability to an Indian Prime Minister in recent years » and accused Congress of attempting to harm the Prime Minister. However, Congress questioned how the prime minister’s security enabled the short-term route change.
