ALDI has issued an urgent recall for a popular ice cream that is sold in its stores in several Australian states.
The recall concerns the gourmet ice cream Indulge Butterscotch Pear (1 liter) due to incorrect labeling.
The ice cream allergy information was found to be incorrectly labeled and the product did not contain peanuts.
The ice cream was on sale in ALDI stores in QLD, NSW and the ACT.
Consumers, Those suffering from a peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to an ALDI store for a full refund, according to a statement on the ALDI website.
