CM – Alleged hotel quarantine refugee hit with multiple charges –


A woman who allegedly escaped hotel quarantine on the Gold Coast was hit on a series of charges after she was found north of Brisbane.

She is believed to have been on her balcony in the on the fourth floor, leaving all her belongings behind.

She was placed in hotel quarantine after being intercepted at the border on July 31 and arrested on a number of charges.

The woman was found on Found in Caboolture Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. after being discovered by a member of the public.

Since then, she has been related to two incidents of non-compliance with the COVID-19 directive, willful damage and theft, and bail violation charged on other matters.
