Another NSW politician announced her resignation days after outgoing Prime Minister Gladys Berejiklian announced she was stepping down from her top job.
Deputy Prime Minister and NSW Nationals Leader John Barilaro announced his resignation on Monday morning.
« When we get out of the lockdown, we must accept this time as a fresh start for our state and welcome the opportunity to refresh, » he said in a statement.
« I have decided that now is the right time for me is to hand over the reins to a new leadership and resign as deputy prime minister of NSW. «
The Monaro member said he would call a meeting in the party hall on Wednesday to officially resign and vote for Will demand a new leader.
It comes after Transport Secretary Andrew Constance announced his resignation over the weekend.
