Australian defender Milos Degenek was excluded from Socceroos’ World Cup qualifiers against Oman and Japan after a positive COVID-19 test, the team announced on Tuesday.
Bailey Wright is replacing the defender from Red Star Belgrade in Graham Arnold’s squad for Thursday’s Group B game against Oman in Doha and next week’s Japan game in Saitama.
