CM – BAN vs SCO, ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Live Cricket Results: Scotland stuns Bangladesh with 6 runs

Day 1, game 2 and first shock! Scotland had an exciting win against Bangladesh on Sunday in the second game of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in Al Amerat, Oman. Scotland started Group B with 53/6 in 11.3 overs. But they turned the tables with Chris Greaves in his second T20I, who first hit 45 balls out of 28 and then took two wickets for 19. The 31-year-old was deftly assisted by Mark Watt, who scored 22 of 17 and took a wicket. and Bradley Wheal, who claimed three for 24. In one day, Shakib Al Hasan became the highest wicket taker in T20Is, Bangladesh perfectly played the first quarter of the game and then lost the offense. Another bite into the grass. Bradley Wheal is over with his finale and getting his second. Nurul Hasan (2 of 3) captured by Calum MacLeod. Mahedi Hasan joins the battle. Bangladesh needs 31 runs in 10 balls. BAN – 110/6 (18.2).

Mark Watt with his last over. And a wicket from Afif Hossain (18 of 12) caught by Josh Davey in the deep center of the wicket. In the middle, Nurul Hasan joins skipper Mahmudullah. Bangladesh needs 35 runs in 15 balls. PROHIBITION – 106/5 (17.3).

Josh Davey does his magic. 12 from behind, including two foursome. His numbers: 1/24. 31 runs in the last five over. Bangladesh needs 37 runs in 18 balls. PROHIBITION – 104/4 (17).

Second for Chris Greaves. Mushfiqur Rahim (38 of 36) is thrown out of the spinner by a beauty. Afif Hossain is the new man. Bangladesh needs 67 runs in 41 balls. PROHIBITION – 74/4 (13.1).

Chris Greaves removes Shakib Al Hasan for 20 of 28, caught by Calum MacLeod on a deep mid-wicket. In the middle, Skipper Mahmudullah joins Mushfiqur Rahim. BAN – 65/3 (11.1).

A 41-run stand in 39 balls for the third wicket between Shakib Al Hasan (17 of 23) and Mushfiqur Rahim (29 of 25) revives Bangladesh. You need 82 runs in 60 balls. PROHIBITION – 59/2 (10).

Safyaan Sharif operates with some control. Three of his second over. Nine of his two overs. The Bangladeshi veterans, Shakib Al Hasan (9 of 14) and Mushfiqur Rahim (4 of 10) need some time to settle in. PROHIBITION – 25/2 (6).

Bradley Wheal conceded seven runs in the first over, while Soumya Sarkar hit the second ball for a four. Liton This is Sarkar’s opening partner. Goal – 141.

Another, and Shakib Al Hasan breaks Lasith Malinga’s record to become the biggest wicket taker in T20Is. The Bangladesh all-rounder now has 108 scalps. Michael Leask (0 of 2), caught by Mahmudullah from a long distance. SCO – 52/5 (10.4).

Mahedi Hasan scores in his first over. Not once, but twice. Matthew Cross (11 of 17), LBW from the second ball, then George Munsey (29 of 23), bowed the fifth. Calum MacLeod joins Richie Berrington in the middle. SCO – 47/3 (8).

Scotland loses skipper Kyle Coetzer (0 of 67), bowling, to Mohammad Saifuddin. George Munsey (26 of 18) and Matthew Cross (8 of 12) are in rebuild mode. SCO – 39/1 (6).
