A truck was split in two after it collided with a train at a level crossing in southeast Melbourne.
Emergency services were called to the Wills Street level crossing at Glen Iris station shortly before 8 a.m. on Thursday.
A train crashed into the truck, split off its trailer and sent it to the other side of the tracks.
A man in his 60s was admitted to Alfred Hospital in stable condition with multiple injuries and one man in the 50s was also taken to hospital in stable condition.
However, buses can take longer than 60 minutes to arrive and commuters have been encouraged to consider alternative modes of transport.
