Emergency dispatchers in Blair County said the Tyrone explosion was reported shortly after 1pm. On Monday, the flames spread to two other homes.
Officials said burn patients had been transported to Altoona Hospital and Tyrone Hospital. The extent of the injuries was not immediately apparent.
