Boris Johnson appears to have finally changed his phone number after it turned out to have been freely available online for 15 years.
The Prime Minister’s contact details can be found at the bottom of a 2006 think tank press release.
Last night calls to the number were answered with an automatic answering machine message that said, « This person’s phone is currently unavailable. Please try later or send a text. »
The Times admitted Announced last week that Simon Case, the civil servant, advised Johnson to update his contact details as he had concerns about the frequency with which MPs, lobbyists and business people were alerting him.
Johnson is said to be advising the Cabinet Secretary ignored, but he seems to have bowed to the inevitable after Popbitch, a gossip
