CM – Brave Bolt leaves the Hall of Fame Open

A brave performance by Alex Bolt wasn’t enough to keep the Australian in the Hall of Fame Open of the ATP Tour when he lost in three sets to American Jack Sock.

It looked promising for Bolt, who made it into the peloton by defeating American Ryan Harrison 6-0 6-7 (7-2) 7-5 in qualifying, won the first set 6-3 but then lost 6-4 6 -3.

The number 7 seeded player will face Japanese Yuichi Sugita on Wednesday for a place in the quarter-finals.
