Britney Spears danced her way through four outfit changes in a video posted on Instagram yesterday.
Spears danced to « Maneater » by Miley Cyrus, twirling and posing in front of a huge Christmas tree laden with ornaments and bows. With presents at her feet, the performer poses pose after pose in every ensemble.Spears first appeared in a pink long-sleeved catsuit with a zipper at the front. The suit was figure-hugging and had a leopard print in deep brown-pink. The singer paired the catsuit with a cat ear headband and a black necklace that resembled a choker. Next, Spears swayed around in a pink and white floral maxi dress. The dress had a heart-shaped neckline and voluminous puffed sleeves.
She kept the same necklace as the last outfit. Spears then swayed into the frame in a strapless black mini dress that buttoned the bodice. The dress was also figure-hugging and covered in little pink details that looked like flowers or some sort of polka dot pattern. The last dress Spears wore before changing back to her pink catsuit was a long-sleeved burgundy high collar dress. The fabric was also freckled with flowers and had long, wide bell sleeves.
This post and many others come at the end of the « Free Britney » movement that took over social media in 2021. The hashtag launched on TikTok and Instagram, drawing attention to the matter that led to the successful end of Spears’ Conservatory.
Each outfit was paired with the same bare heels that gave the singer some height. The shoes turned out to be versatile and went with every outfit they were combined with.
