Antonio Conte, who will return to his former club in the semi-finals, gives his verdict to Sky. “It is good for Tottenham to reach the semi-finals of this competition. You can see the names of the teams that make it through to this semi-finals, which means that every club wants to try to win this trophy. I remember this trophy was used in the past to play with young players but now I see that it is very difficult to win a trophy in England. West Ham beat United and City. It’s very difficult to win something in England! ”
22:11 GMT22: 11
A disappointed David Moyes speaks to Sky. “The players showed great determination and character. You have done a brilliant job. In my opinion there were some really bad defenders who gave them the opportunity to score. It was self-inflicted. We were unfortunate that we didn’t see a couple of great opportunities. It was a tough game and we failed us from a few incidents in the first half, but overall the players did a great job. ”

The tie. Jamie Redknapp and Michael Dawson will make it. Hopefully they are much faster – and turn out to be significantly less clumsy – than the light entertainment legends at Uefa. So let’s go!

PENS: Liverpool 4-4 Leicester. Minamino, who scored the last equalizer, is on fire! The ball bangs off the crossbar and out! What a drama here!
9:52 p.m. GMT21: 52

Anfield is full time. Liverpool and Leicester City, with eleven League Cup titles together, will use penalty shoot-outs to get a place in the semifinals. Who will make the last four at Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur? We’ll find out shortly. Liverpool 3-3 Leicester City.
21:42 GMT21: 42
Liverpool equalized in the fifth minute of added time at Anfield! Takumi Minamino comes in at the end of James Milner’s Hail Mary pass and volleys. It looks like there will be penalties unless there is more drama. Liverpool 3-3 Leicester City.
9:38 p.m. GMT21: 38
Chelsea are the third team from London in the semi-finals. You beat Brentford by a couple of late goals. Brentford 0-2 Chelsea.
9:37 p.m. GMT21: 37
… West Ham’s dreams fade and die. Areola comes to the corner and even wins a header, but Lloris peels it and that’s it. Spurs are in the semifinals!
9:36 p.m. GMT21: 36
90. Min. 3: Fornals jinks down the right inner channel and takes a pop from inside the penalty area. The ball is deflected and dragged hysterically over Lloris … but on the crossbar and to the corner. From which …
9:35 p.m. GMT21: 35
9:34 p.m. GMT21: 34
90th Minute 1: The Spurs fans are fed up. So close to the semi-finals now.
9:33 p.m. GMT21: 33
90 min: David Moyes is not happy about Tottenham’s unwillingness to resume the game quickly and complains to the fourth official. His team only has three extra minutes to save.
9:32 p.m. GMT21: 32
9:31 p.m. GMT21: 31
88th Minute: West Ham does it nicely, but there are no gaps in the Spurs defense. After a while, the Spurs press pushes the Hammers all the way back into their own box. Time keeps ticking.
9:29 p.m. GMT21: 29
86th Minute: West Ham had 89 percent possession in the last ten minutes. Spurs are undoubtedly in Hold-What-You-Have mode.
21:28 GMT21: 28
85th minute: In the west, Jorginho makes second place for Chelsea, Alvaro Fernandez has defeated Christian Pulisic. Brentford 0-2 Chelsea.
21:28 GMT21: 28
84th Minute: Rice dribbles down the inner left channel and forces a corner. Fornals takes. The ball breaks to Benrahma, whose shot is blocked immediately. Yarmolenko hits a cross from the right. Spurs make it clear. The hosts are holding out a little now.
9:26 p.m. GMT21: 26
21:24 GMT21: 24
81 min: Chelsea have taken the lead in Brentford, Pontus Jansson cuts the lower right wing of Reece James into his own net. Brentford 0-1 Chelsea.

80.Min: Ashby, who has moved down the right flank, is replaced by Yarmolenko, who intervenes immediately. He rolls in a pass from the right for Benrahma, who hits with one touch and creamed a flat diagonal shot over Lloris and inches from the left post. What a goal that would have been!
21:22 GMT21: 22
79. Min: Soucek swings in from the right. The ball flies to Masuaku, who delivers from the left. Spores half clear. Benrahma sees one more time from 25 meters away and sends Lloris one straight down the throat. West Ham is getting closer, however.
21:20 GMT21: 20
21:20 GMT21: 20
76. Minute: West Ham pushes Spurs back a little, the home team does not help itself by giving the ball away cheaply a few times. Spurs limit Benrahma to a speculative drive, which is better from the visitors.
21:17 GMT21: 17
74th minute: Kane clings to a loose ball 40 meters from the goal. He rages towards the West Ham Box, with options on either side and West Ham Light on the back. He slips into the field for Son, who is free in the box! But he takes an unusually strong ball contact and lets the ball flow through to Areola. What a chance to end this effectively. West Ham takes a deep breath.
9:15 p.m. GMT21:15
72nd minute: Liverpool have closed the gap on Anfield Road again. Takumi Minamino plays Diogo Jota with a back pass down the left inner channel into the box, and the formidable Portuguese striker makes no mistake. Liverpool 2-3 Leicester City.
21:13 GMT21: 13
70 min: Dawson cuts off Kane’s heel. Kane sits on the grass and moans a lot, then it takes him forever to put his boot back on. A master class in running the clock.

69th minute: West Ham makes a double change. Lanzini and Vlasic are replaced by Benrahma and Fornals. Benrahma is right in the middle of it, hits Ashby’s right flank, swings and hops over the bar from 12 meters. He should probably have been sacked at Fornals, although you can’t really criticize a striker for that.
21:11 GMT21: 11
67. Min .: Reguilon stands up from the left. Skip fights to get a head on the ball six feet from goal but dislodged. Just. Spurs so close to what would be a clincher tire for sure.
9:09 p.m. GMT21: 09
66th min: Both teams take turns to pass the ball around in the middle of the park. Neither do much, although Spurs are 120 seconds closer to the semi-finals.
9:08 p.m. GMT21: 08
64 min: Doherty, Son and Skipp connect crisply at the bottom right. They don’t quite manage to open West Ham, but they paint some pretty triangles and the crowd is enjoying the game. It didn’t take Conte long to get a tune out of Spurs.
9:05 p.m. GMT21: 05
Min.62: Son’s first act is Doherty, whose flank is blocked at close range by Masuaku, sliding a pass to the right. Doherty wants the penalty but doesn’t get a kick as the ball rattled Masuaku’s chest before slipping off his arm. This is by no means a punishment, although Conte does not share this opinion and dances around the dugout in disgust.
