The Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals will both have marquee players at points of revenge against previous teams when these two compete against each other on Friday.
Colorado starter Austin Gomber had a problem with walking too many 6.2 per nine innings this season, resulting in an ERA of 5.90 in his first season at the Rockies after seeing time in the big leagues in 2018 and at the Cardinals in 2020.

However, the St. Louis Cardinals are only doing 4.1 runs per game on average, compared to 5.3 runs per game outside of their home country.
