Carlton has split from CEO Cain Liddle as the aftermath of their disastrous season under new President Luke Sayers continues.
Liddle joined Richmond in November 2017 after eight seasons in commercial positions successfully helped the Blues find their way through the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Carlton failed to make the final during that time, with Liddle in charge when the club sacked Brendon Bolton and David Teague after serving some time as an interim coach.
Sayers initiated a mid-season review of the football department that resulted in Teague and assistant coaches Dale Amos and Brent Stanton leaving.
He had also reached out to veteran Geelong CEO Brian Cook to replace Liddle as part of a major overhaul of the club.
