CM – Carrie Ann Inaba says goodbye to « The Talk »

Carrie Anne Inaba announced on Monday that she would be taking a leave of absence from « The Talk » to focus on her « health and wellbeing ».

« We all know that health is the most precious thing The present is that we have, « Inaba, 53, wrote along with a video statement posted on Instagram. “And I have to take care of mine. I appreciate the love and support from all of you and my family on The Talk. I hope to be back soon! Ready to act! 🙌🏻❤️🙏🏼 I send you all my love. And I will keep you informed of my progress. Speak soon. ❤️😘 ”

Inaba’s co-host Sheryl Underwood delivered an on-air message in the same direction, including, » We miss you, Carrie Ann, and we look forward to having you back with us soon. «

Inaba’s departure is another blow to the highly competitive CBS flagship chat show. « The Talk » was recently embroiled in a massive scandal after Underwood had an argument with then co-host Sharon Osbourne, which resulted in Osbourne leaving the show, albeit not without a hefty golden parachute.

Meanwhile, Inaba, who recently weathered a battle with COVID-19, was charged in February by a person who accused her of causing a car accident in Los Angeles in 2019.

It is not known if Inaba’s break from the show was related to the ongoing effects of the coronavirus. During a January section when Osbourne was discussing her battle with COVID, Inaba agreed that she was still feeling the long-term effects of the disease, such as fatigue.
