With the Christmas holidays approaching, the Bundaberg Regional Council would like to remind residents of the changed operating hours of some of its facilities.
From next week and until after the holidays, the opening times in a number of facilities such as Alexandra Park Zoo, Bundaberg Regional Libraries, Hinkler Hall of Aviation, and others.
Mayor Jack Dempsey said while facilities would remain closed on Christmas Day, many will continue to operate on public holidays, so families will have plenty to do during the Christmas break see and have to do.
« Christmas is about family and friends, spending quality time together and looking forward to the future, » he said.
« It is a time to shed light on the good in our community, to celebrate our togetherness, our family and our friendships.
» While you are spending time with loved ones during this festive break, visit some of our amazing Council facilities, which are sure to make a great day for everyone in our region.

Everyone Offices, libraries, depots and the Moncrieff Entertainment Center will close Friday, December 24, 2021 at 4:45 p.m. and open Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 8:15 a.m.
