The Consul General of Greece in Adelaide, George Psiachas, sends his message to the Pontic community on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the genocide of the Pontians.

In his message, Psiachas emphasizes that Pontic Hellenism despite the fighting and persecution remains an important part of modern Greek history.

I bow to the sacred memory of the Pontians and congratulate the Pontic community here in Adelaide, particularly through the Pontian Brotherhood Brotherhood of SA, which recently inaugurated its new cultural center which will now shine in Adelaide as a beacon of Pontic Hellenism.
