Welcome to Sportstar’s live coverage of the Group B Copa America game between Brazil and Colombia at the Estadio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro.

90 ‘The fourth official has signaled TEN MINUTES of stoppage time! Plenty of time for a winning goal here.

89 ‘It is important for the referee to get this game under control to avoid further drama.

87′ Yellow card for Neymar for an elbow attack against Barrios. It’s hot here and there is a good chance that both teams won’t finish with 11 men. The mood has certainly changed after Firmino’s controversial goal.

84 ‘The Colombian players are still arguing with the referee and do not seem in the mood to restart the game. There is a lot of pushing and shoving. A very unfortunate goal conceded for Colombia.

81 ‘The goal was scored and the Colombian players can’t believe it! It is a very controversial goal as the new rules state that when the ball hits the referee, play will resume by throwing a drop ball. The referee in question, Nestor Pitana, looked like he was going to whistle before letting the game continue and Brazil scoring a goal.

78 ‘EQUAL TO BRAZIL! Firmino heads the ball past Ospina to bring Brazil back into play. However, the Colombian players are furious because the ball hit the referee while setting up the game. He looked like he was whistling and the Colombian players stopped just before Brazil scored a goal. A VAR check was provided.

77 ‘Double substitution for Brazil – IN: Everton Soares, Gabriel Barbosa | AUS: Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison

75 ‘Colombia persistently defends with 10 men behind. Borja, who came on just a few minutes ago, is the only one who plays up front.

73 ‘Casemiro lets you go from a distance, but just like his shot in the first half, he’s miles away from goal.

72′ Brazil play Firmino and Jesus together before the attacker from Man City passes over meets Richarlison on the left. Richarlison whips a cross that is cleared for a corner.

70 ‘Richarlison’s throw-in in the penalty area, but the referee says nothing. Cuadrado is booked at the other end because he threw Marquinhos down the throat with his elbow.

68 ‘Fred changed coach for Lucas Paqueta at Brazil. Casemiro is now the only defensive midfielder for Brazil.

66 ‘Neymar hits the post! He finds space in the penalty area, rounds off the keeper with finesse and hits him well, but is denied by the upright. This is the next goal Brazil scored today.

64 ‘Double substitution for Colombia, both goals scored. Miguel Borja and Gustvo Cuellar replace Zapata and Borre respectively. A defensive move by Colombian coach Reinaldo Rueda, who is aiming for his first win against Brazil.

61 ‘Barrios made it very difficult for Neymar today. Wherever Neymar goes, Barrios is there. Neymar looks understandably upset.

59 ‘Chance for Brazil to shoot a cross from Richarlison’s cross over the left side, but neither Jesus nor Firmino can reach the cross.

56′ Neymar header with a free kick from the left by Zapata.

53 ‘What a chance for Neymar! Sandro plays a nice long ball into the box for Neymar and Neymar just manages to get a touch when Ospina makes a routine save.

52 ‘Strong start from Brazil. The Selecao kept the Colombian defense on their toes in the first minutes of half-time and the last straight minutes were played almost exclusively in the Colombian penalty area.

49 ‘Richarlison’s chance with a nice pass from Neymar but Mina clears the threat. Mina did a good job today to keep Richarlison at bay.

48 ‘Brazil hasn’t lost at home since the 2014 World Cup! Can Tite’s men turn this game around?

46 ‘Brazil coach Tite changes for the break: Roberto Firmino replaces Ribeiro. Unsatisfied with some of the decisions that had been made against them in the first half, the Brazilians came out of the tunnel and protested to the referee.

Luis Diaz’s phenomenal volley is all that separates the two sides at break as Colombia lead 1-0. Brazil have the lion’s share of possession, nearly 70 percent, but have struggled to break through the watertight Colombian defenses. Neymar was the only Brazilian to have shown intent to attack, while Richarlison and Jesus were pretty calm. Colombia did remarkably well in defense and tried to keep their narrow lead.

45 ‘The ball ricochets off Zapata’s thigh and hits his arm as he tries to get the ball out of the box clarify. The Brazilians want a penalty but the referee waives their claims. Three minutes are added.

42 ‘A rare counterattack from Brazil! Richarlison has to go from the edge of the box, but Mina would do well to block his shot and he is deflected for a corner.

41 ‘Neymar tries to jump barrios but the Colombian silences him with a well-timed duel.

38 ‘Neymar’s header, who quickly shouts a foul and rolls onto the pitch. This is the second time he’s doing this in five minutes. He’s got through a frustrating half-time and hasn’t had any real scoring opportunities so far.

36 ‘Neymar tries to feed Richarlison on the left, but the combination doesn’t work properly. Neymar combined with the Everton striker but the latter wasn’t very effective. Perhaps Jesus could swap positions with Richarlison and see if that makes a difference.

33 ‘Colombia’s coach Reinaldo Rueda is looking for his first win against Brazil. His Colombian team lost a draw in his first term in the 2006 World Cup qualifying against the Selecao, and his Ecuadorian team lost to Brazil.

30 ‘Colombia were the better team in the first half hour. The team used the wings extensively to generate attacks while the defense behind was compact. Colombia’s goalkeeper Ospina had a relatively easy game and has not yet taken a single shot.

28 ‘Colombia calls out loud penalties, but the referee sees no foul. Diaz, the goalscorer, claims to have been tripped by Danilo. Repetitions show there was light contact, but it looks like it was on the edge of the box. Regardless, it is a shot on goal for Brazil.

27 ‘Ribeiro is the second yellow card for Brazil as he drags Uribe to the ground.

25′ Casemiro shoots from distance … but it’s a terrible one Shot and the ball just rolls out of play. No shots on goal or shots from Brazil so far. That is rather atypical for an offensive team like Brazil. Full points for the Colombian defense, who have been tight and compact so far.

22 ‘Colombia’s defender has hit Neymar pretty hard. He is fouled again, for the second time in as many minutes as Brazil wins another free kick.

19 ‘Brazil’s ball distribution is good and the team have more possession, but the bite is missing in the final third. Neymar created some chances but the team’s finishing hasn’t been efficient so far. Brazil has created the second most chances in the Copa America – 12.5. Only Paraguay developed more chances with 16.5.

16 ‘Colombians want to push the ball into the opponent’s penalty area before shooting on goal. Colombia is the team that will, on average, shoot from the shortest distance to goal at the 2021 Copa America. Over 80 percent of the team’s shots on goal were made in the penalty area, with the average shooting range being the smallest at just 13.7 meters.

14 ‘Book! Alex Sandro’s lost arm hits Cuadrardo in the face and he receives the first yellow card of the game.

13 ‘Chance for Cuadrado from Neymar, but the Brazilian hits the ground with a foul.

10′ TOOAAAAAAAAAAL! Luis Diaz scores a sensational volley to give Colombia the lead. Cuadrado plays a nice cross from the right and Diaz lines it up perfectly with a breathtaking scissor stroke to give his team the early advantage. That must surely be the goal of the tournament so far!

9 ‘Colombia have only beaten Brazil once in the last 19 games between the two nations. That win came in the 2015 Copa America group stage.

7 ‘Ribeiro instead takes a free kick and sinks the ball into the box to no avail.

6 ‘First standard chance of the game from a Richarlison free kick from the edge of the box. Neymar stands above it.

4 ‘A pass from Neymar frees Jesus, but Ospina storms over the line to catch the ball. Neymar has already scored two goals in the Copa America 2021.

3 ‘Jesus gets a nice pass and he slams into the box, but he is simply pushed out. The Brazilians run smoothly.

5:29 am: Brazil have won 22 of their last 25 home games and only failed to score in two of these games. Can Colombia lower this record?

5:25 am: Marquinhos returns for Brazil while star goalkeeper Ederson was spared. Fabinho will be replaced by Ribeiro, while Casemiro and Richarlison will also find a place in the starting XI.

5:20 am: Brazil have already made it through to the quarter-finals with their unbeaten run, while Colombia needs a win to win Secure place in the round of 16.

5:15 am: Brazil were in impressive form at the Copa America, defeating Venezuela 3-0 in the opening game before storming to a 4-0 win against Peru in the next game. The result sees Brazil with six points from two games at the top of Group B. Colombia, on the other hand, have no win in the last two games. The team started their season with a 1-0 win over Ecuador but have since drew 0-0 against Venezuela and lost 2-1 to Peru.

Neymar’s Brazil will take their third straight group stage win at the 2021 Copa America when they face Colombia today. This is how the two teams start –
