Police arrested a man in Sydney as part of an investigation into suspected terrorist offenses.
In early December, the NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team began investigating the online activities of a man who reportedly found material for the Islamic State and expressed extremist views in discussions on multiple platforms.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man in Caringbah on Friday morning and took him to Sutherland Police Station, where charges are being brought against him.
