They have drawn the last two games of these teams. Cruz Azul has not lost to her since Apertura 2019.

The azulcremas are entering this final with a month of great challenges in mind after losing the CONCACAF Champions League final.

Her loss to Monterrey resulted in a five-game winning streak that she maintained at the top of the Liga MX. It also exhibited many problems in the América attack, as it lacked many ideas and variations to create complications against a staunch defense of Monterrey.

The resentment in Coapa was so great that club owner Emilio Azcárraga began to think about changes for the coming season. The main focus could be on sports director Santiago Baños.

His name is the most criticized in the fan base. According to recent reports from Mexico City, his position, not Solari’s, is currently at risk. You have to see how the rest of the league develops for the club.

Cruz Azul has drawn their third straight draw. This is why they are outside of the top 4.

Juan Reynoso is also a coach that many have speculated about with an early exit. It’s pretty shocking to hear that his team is relatively safe with a possible place in the Liguilla. Cruz Azul has not lost in his last 10 league games but his inability to complete games and lose points has left the Peruvian vulnerable to much criticism.

The problem is that the team couldn’t find the same version of the game that led them to win the title last semester.

La Máquina can also count on the Mexican internationals Santiago Giménez and Roberto Alvarado. These two were part of the El Tri squad that played against Ecuador in Charlotte. In this game the Mexicans fell to the Ecuadorians.

Cruz Azul probably XI: José de Jesús Corona, Pablo Aguilar, Julio César Domínguez, Ignacio Rivero; Juan Escobar, Roberto Alvarado, Guillermo Fernández, Orbelín Pineda; Luis Romo; Bryan Angulo, Jonathan Rodríguez

Club America probably XI: Guillermo Ochoa; Jorge Sánchez, Jordan Silva, Emmanuel Aguilera, Luis Fuentes; Pedro Aquino, Richard Sánchez, Alvaro Fidalgo; Sebastian Córdova, Roger Martinez, Henry Martin
