Czarface – consisting of 7L, Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan Stapect Inspectah Deck – has, in addition to the late MF DOOM with the title Super What? A brand new album presented.
The 10-track project runs in just under half an hour and features guest appearances by Darryl « DMC » McDaniels on the opener « The King and Eye », Kendra Morris on « Czarwyn’s theory of getting rid of people » and Del The Funky Homosapien « Jason & The Czargonauts » and Godforbid on « So Strange ». Super what? It is MF DOOM’s first posthumous release since his death was announced in December 2020. Esoteric reveals that the album was recorded and was originally scheduled to be released in April 2020 – six months before the villain « passed over ».
