The 2020 version was originally for the 23rd to 29th November 2020 planned. However, on June 26, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ITF announced that the 2020 final will take place from November 22 to 28, 2021. They also announced that it will be the Davis Cup final in 2021.
On January 18, 2021, the ITF openly stated that the final would be extended by 11 days and from November 25 to December 5, 2021 will be held.
