An earthquake struck the Snowy Mountains region in southern New South Wales on Wednesday, authorities have confirmed.
The magnitude 3.2 quake was struck shortly after 10 a.m., according to Geoscience Australia, 19 kilometers south of Jindabyne discovered in the morning.
Local residents have reported feeling a « bang, » but so far there have been no reports of injury or property damage.
