A declaration of emergency on a large part of a popular tourist suburb of Gold Coast has been lifted.
The area in Broadbeach was closed due to a gas leak on Monday afternoon, the first day of the school holidays.
« The PSPA (Public Safety Preservation Act) statement has now been repealed and the gas leak made safe, ”Queensland Police tweeted.
