When Bukayo Saka, the England team’s breakout star, played in one of his very first soccer finals, he lost 4-2 and promised to give up the game.
Now while he’s on the biggest game of his Prepared for life, his then PE teacher believes he has the strength of character to help England win the Euro 2020 trophy.
Mark Harvey, now deputy principal at Greenford High School in Ealing, west London, said: « He came off the pitch in tears after the county final – you can imagine how devastating it was for him to be only 11 or 12 and said he said he would never play again.
