What happened at MAFS Australia Season 8 Reunion? From scam scandals to breakups …
Season eight originally aired in Oz in February 2021 but was shown on E4 this fall.
And while the whole series was full of drama, the reunion episode definitely got people talking.
Rebecca Zemek and Jake Edwards looked very much loved when they saw each other before Beck’s infidelity came to light.
It was revealed during the show that after Rebecca flew to Perth to care for her sick dog, asked her ex to take the dog to the vet and they kissed.
Jake was heartbroken when he found out the truth, and at the time admitted, « I’m empty, mate. I’m shocked. «
Then he added: » Firstly, it breaks my heart, but secondly, it undoes everything else but me and me that she did in the experiment. It means nothing now. I told her that I loved her during the vows.
« I’m a complete idiot. I’m embarrassed, I don’t even want to talk to her anymore. I can’t get the kissing out of my head. It’s in my head. »
Elsewhere in the reunion, Georgia Fairweather and Liam Cooper’s shocking split was discussed.
The couple split during the final engagement ceremony when Liam stormed out on the big day.
Belinda Vickers and Patrick Dwyer looked very much loved when they saw each other, while we now know they split just weeks later.
Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson also remained strong despite a rocky time on the show.
But things got nasty when Bryces was mystifying serious friend came up again, which he continues to deny.The stragglers Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Knight also looked happier than ever when they met again, and Alana Lister and Jason Engler were still together at the time.
Alana and Jason later decided to split after a controversial video of Jason allegedly making abusive comments about his MAFS colleague Liam was leaked. Elsewhere at the reunion, Coco Stedman and Samantha Harvey got into a furious argument over Cameron Dunne.
At the reunion, the group was shown a video of Coco and Cam’s secret meeting behind the back of Samantha Harvey.
