LPL announced today that financial advisor Kip Adams and his team have partnered with HUB Retirement and Wealth Management to join LPL Financial’s broker-dealer, hybrid-registered investment advisor and custodian platforms.
Adams previously managed approximately $ 800 million in pension, advisory and brokerage assets at Kestra, the announcement said.
Adams, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is the director of retirement and personal wealth practice at Gus Bates Insurance & Investments, a division of HUB International Texas. His team includes pension plan advisor Blake Hiett, investment advisor Spencer Stilwell, senior account manager Susan Blassingame and two other employees.
Prior to joining the financial advisory industry 14 years ago, Adams spent a decade of his career in public accounting with a focus on advising retirement plans. He started out with retirement and employee benefits, but as the team evolved over the years, the services expanded to include comprehensive wealth management.
