CM – Former Arsenal coach Montemurro takes over the management of Juventus Women

Former Arsenal boss Joe Montemurro has been confirmed as the new head coach of the Juventus women’s team.

The Australian made a name for himself in women’s football at Arsenal, where he took office from November 2017 to May 2021.

He led the Gunners to the women’s Super League 2018-19 title and his tenure also included winning the 2018 Continental League Cup.

For his achievements at Arsenal, Montemurro was named FIFA Women’s Manager of the Year 2019 in 2019 nominated.

Juventus won all 22 Serie A games this season to keep their league title, but have been knocked out of the Champions League by Lyon in the last 32.

Arsenal, the Women’s Super League finished third to secure Champions League qualification, but Montemurro’s successor has not yet been announced.
