Manchester United wants to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund before the final of the European Championship this summer. This comes out from new reports from Germany.

Bild claims that United will offer around 90 million euros to sign the English star Sancho after failing with offers of a similar amount in last summer’s transfer window.

A move for Sancho would add to United’s already strong line of strikers, and Gary Neville told Sky Sports that he expects his old club to sign a player who will also be of interest at Liverpool.

Edinson’s decision Cavani for a one-year contract extension with Manchester United on Monday could affect their transfer plans this summer. Neville predicts that Sancho will likely be their number one target now.

« If you look at the guidelines for the past few years since Solskjaer, I don’t think they will now sign a striker that Cavani has signed, » said United -Legend Neville.

« They were desperate for Sancho but didn’t get it last summer and were criticized for it, but they might look incredibly smart if they could get it at half price this summer after waiting 12 months «

» When I look at it I think Sancho is coming in on the right. Greenwood could support him on that side. Up front United will have Cavani and Greenwood who they want to play up front because he’s great «

» And then you have Marcus Rashford and (Anthony) Martial on your left, with (Paul) Pogba possibly there if he’s not needed in midfield.

« If United is Harry Kane or Erling Haaland under Contract, I don’t think this works given how they have been hired over the past few years and how young talent is supposed to emerge.

« It would be Manchester United’s business to allow young players to emerge, Allow Rashford to play and bring Sancho in. «

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had admitted he wasn’t sure Canavi would stay at Old Trafford as he wanted to go to his South American homeland Nevertheless, he has chosen to play the lead role after a season in which he has scored 15 goals, which helped United to second place in the Premier League and the final of the Europa League.

Cavani told the club’s official website: « Over the course of the season I have developed a great deal of affection for the club and everything it represents.

» From the first moment on when i arrived i felt the manager’s trust. As a player, that belief gives you the perfect opportunity to play your best football and I want to thank him for it.

« I was touched by how much the fans wanted me to stay and I’ll give it my all To bring them happiness and joy with my performances on the field.

Cavani has been a huge hit at Old Trafford since arriving as a free agent in October, both in terms of his goals and assists, as well as his attitude and dedication, which affects younger players like Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer added: “When Edinson signed I said he would bring energy, power and leadership to this group and I was not wrong. He was everything I imagined and more.

« As a coach, we knew about his goal record, but it’s his personality that has given this squad so much that they have a winning mentality and a clear attitude to everything he does. «

» Edinson is one of the last to leave the training ground and set the tone for aspiring youngsters with his daily approach to his job.

« I always wanted that he stays and see how our fans react to him as a player and that means hopefully he gets this opportunity. «
