SAN FRANCISCO – Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was eliminated early against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Green was eliminated in the middle of the third quarter with a bruise on his right thigh and was out for the rest of the game, the Warriors announced. The official diagnosis was a bruise on the right thigh.
Green seemed to pinch his leg while attempting an offensive rebound and putback just before leaving the game.
When Green left the game at 6:29 am in the third quarter, the Warriors had a dominant 79-63 lead over the Timberwolves. But Minnesota had reduced Golden State’s lead to just 5 points in the fourth quarter.
Before leaving the game, Green had contributed seven points – all for fouls – as well as six assists and five rebounds.
