December 6th (UPI) – Google celebrates pizza with a new Doodle, which doubles as an interactive pizza cutting game.
The company logo can be seen on the Google homepage next to a play button and a pizza cake.

December 6th (UPI) – Google is celebrating Pizza with a new Doodle that doubles as an interactive pizza cutting game.
Clicking the play button will start the game where users will be able to choose different types of pizza have to cut with different toppings. Each type of pizza must be cut in a unique way to contain a certain number of toppings, with users being rated based on their performance.
Google also notes that on this day in 2007, the culinary art of the Neapolitan pizzaiuolo entered the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The art of Neapolitan pizzaiuolo is a culinary practice that includes four stages associated with preparing the pizza dough and baking it in the wood-fired oven.
An estimated five Billions of pizzas are consumed internationally every year. In the US, 350 slices are consumed per second.
