CM – Handcuffed in Houston: Harris County arrests for Jan. 5, 2022

The following people were arrested in Houston and Harris Counties, Texas on crime charges. All records are accessed through the Harris County District Clerk website.

The cases for January 5, 2022 include a teenager charged with murder in a fatal crash, two men charged with robbing another man at gunpoint, and a woman accused of attacking a man with a golf club.

Those arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. The capital crime charges are the most serious under Texas law. They face potential life imprisonment with no possibility of parole or death. Charbel Boueri, 17, of Spring, Texas, has been charged with first degree murder. Bond information for Boueri was not immediately available, but Harris County Jail records showed that Boueri remained in custody on January 5, 2022. Boueri has also been charged with drunken vehicle assault on two counts, both of which are third-degree crimes. Boueri is accused of being the driver in an accident in Harris County that killed 18-year-old Christopher Lujan and injured two teenage girls, according to court documents.

D’Alessandro Bou, 18, from Houston, charged with grievous bodily harm with a lethal weapon, a first degree felony. Bou was held untied. Katherine Levon Robinson, 53, of Houston, was charged with two or more convictions of theft, a state prison crime. Robinson’s bond information was not immediately available.

Dwight Wayne Townsend, 18, of Houston, was charged with $ 2,500 to $ 30,000 in theft, a state prison felony. Townsend’s bond was set at $ 2,500. Townsend was arrested by the Houston Police Department on January 3, 2022 after being accused of stealing three catalytic converters, according to court records.

Devante Treyshon Becks, 25, of Houston has been charged with criminal mischief that caused between $ 2,500 and $ 30,000 in damage, a state prison crime. The bond for Becks was set at $ 1,500.
