« South Park » has ruled itself as the cable’s top prime time comedy every year for nearly a decade. So far, fans have watched over 2.2 billion episodes between traditional broadcasts and streaming services. The Emmy-winning animated series debuted on August 13, 1997. The show was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who co-produced the Christmas special with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers and Christopher Brion is the creative director of South Park Digital Studios.
Next year, South Park will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, but audiences may be limited due to the large volume Deals of MTV Entertainment Studios with Parker and Stone expect new episodes until at least 2027.
Paramount is celebrating the holiday season with festive new titles and a curated selection for the whole family, including « A Christmas Carol », « Bridget Jones’s Diary » and « Serendipity ».
The Christmas program will also feature iconic episodes of « Cheers », « Everybody Hates Chris », « Frasier », « Happy Days » and « The Brady Bunch » as well as brand new kids specials like « A Loud Christmas » « Rugrats » vacation episodes and seasonal episodes of « SpongeBob SquarePants », « iCarly », « Dora the Explorer », « Peppa Pig » and more.
