An iconic Melbourne rooftop bar in the heart of the CBD closes in just weeks after failing multiple COVID-19 shutdowns.
Madame Brussels has been a feature of Bourke Street for more than 15 years their characteristic pink cocktails, the lively interior and the view of the city.
But on Monday evening, co-founder and managing director Paula Scholes posted the bar on Instagram that it would close on July 25th.
“We’ll be ours Allow for current bookings through July 25, but all other requests are walk-ins only.
Scholes told Good Food the closure was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of people moving to the city come.
She said Madame Brussels only did 20 percent of her usual business.
