A prank show in Iraq simulating ISIS-style ambushes was canceled after it outraged viewers in the war-torn country.

The Iraqi Media Supervision Commission tore Tannab Raslan out of the air after the Show had sparked anger among Iraqi audiences.

The hidden camera show has local celebrity guests at the hands of actors playing extremist militants – complete with fake weapons and suicide vests.

It aired as a special during the holy month of Ramadan, but viewers questioned ethics to scare its guests and force the audience to ease the terror of ISIS rule.

« Honestly, this is not acceptable, it is inhuman and uncivilized, » Baghdad-based Bashir al-Saddi told the Associated Press.

In one of the series’ most controversial episodes, Iraqi actress Nessma Tanneb is in despair after being blindfolded and believing she is in a building that is being stormed by militant forces.

Iraqi Security guards come to the rescue, but Tanneb eventually faints, according to the AP. The positive portrayal of the security forces was one reason why some viewers disagreed and were disappointed with the cancellation.
