Jacob Elordi praised his ex-girlfriend Kaia Gerber for teaching him how to deal with being young, hot and famous.
« She is wonderful in public, » the 24-year-old actor told Men’s Health magazine in an interview published on Monday. « I learned so much from her about how to use it, how to use it and just whatever is with it, you know? »
The « Euphoria » star discussed the 20-year-old’s wisdom Models with the magazine just weeks before Page Six exclusively revealed that the pair had quit for a year in November.
Things were apparently going well for the couple, but their split came immediately after they made things official with their red carpet debut at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ opening gala in September.
Elordi explained further that as a native Australian who is also in the limelight, he has “tall poppy syndrome” – which is defined as a cultural phenomenon where society likes to hold back, criticize or annoy those who have made it in the world according to HCA mag.
« The principle is nice, » he explained. « It often helps me to check myself out and make sure my head isn’t the size of a balloon. » don’t want to accept, ”said Elordi.
Before his relationship with the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Elordi was romantically linked to his « Euphoria » co-star Zendaya for a few months in early 2020.
From 2017 to 2018 he also dated another co-star, Joey King, from Netflix’s « Kissing Booth ».
