CM – Japanese Prime Minister sends ritual offerings to the infamous Yasukuni Shrine


Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has sent a ritual offering to the war-related Yasukuni Shrine, according to the Japanese public broadcaster NHK on Sunday.

The Yasukuni Shrine honors 14 convicted war criminals of class A under 2.5 Millions of Japanese war dead from World War II.

Visits and ritual offerings made by Japanese leaders and officials in person or as representatives of the infamous shrine have consistently generated strong criticism and the feelings of people in China, South Korea and other countries injured who were brutally treated by Japan during World War II.
