UPDATE, with video announcement. CBS’s daily show The Talk announced that frequent guest host Jerry O’Connell is joining the show as a permanent co-host.
« It’s fun, and it works, and we will have fun, « the actor said on today’s episode when the announcement was made. Check out the announcement below.
O’Connell will appear on the show for the remainder of the week before taking a break until the end of the month to meet an earlier film engagement. He’ll be there full-time for Season 12. His attitude follows the sacking of original co-host Sharon Osbourne in March after her controversial comments on the race and her defense of friend Piers Morgan.
« It’s really exciting « , he said. “First of all I want to say you made me so welcome. I mean, I came here as a guest months ago and from the moment I walked in you are just lovely, you are nice, you are funny and it worked. And here we are. We’ll have a lot of fun, we really are. «
