John Legend says his wife Chrissy Teigen is doing « great » even though she is at the center of a full-blown cyberbullying scandal.
The singer opened Tuesday afternoon with a big smile in front of the couple’s mansion in Los Angeles pictured and told the photographers, « She is doing great » when asked how Teigen is holding up, reports the Daily Mail.
His assurance comes after 35-year-old Teigen signed up for her second time on Monday Past cyberbullying apologized and admitted to trolling Courtney Stodden and other celebs before she became a household name herself.
« There’s not a day, not a moment, that I haven’t felt the overwhelming weight of regret for the Felt things I’ve said in the past, « wrote Teigen in her post this week. “As you know, some of my old horrible (horrible, horrible) tweets have surfaced again. I am really ashamed of her. When I look at them and understand the pain they have caused, I have to stop and ask myself: How could I do this? «
Then she addressed her bullying from Stodden, who now uses her / her pronouns, by saying, « I’ve apologized publicly to one person, but there are others – and more than a few – that I have to say I’m sorry about. »
In May, 26-year-old Stodden said that Teigen told them to kill themselves in private DMs years ago after he publicly tweeted that Stodden should “take a nap.” Teigen publicly apologized to Stodden in May, but the reality star claimed she was never heard of her privately.
After Teigen’s new apology this week, fashion designer Michael Costello got in touch, claiming Teigen had cyberbullyed him in the past and made him suicidal.
