The former NASA- Astronaut Bruce Melnick was there for a behind-the-scenes tour on Thursday. He says the experience is different from any other.

â ???? There is no room without weightlessness or something like that ????? said Melnick. « But to experience the simulation we have here and the fact that we can fully immerse ourselves in the simulators, » this is about as close as possible. ?

The roof of Gateway will have its own telescope that can be used for take-off and landing observations. It will also be available for special occasions.

« There are great things that happen on the Space Coast that are worth highlighting, » said Protze. « We want to show you that now, and we can’t wait to show you the finished product. »
