CM – Knicks’ Julius Randle Receives All-NBA Team Buzz

Former Nets striker Richard Jefferson has trolled many Knicks in the past. Jefferson said, however, that Julius Randle emerged as an All-NBA player even though he was a third-team guy.

Jefferson is a little late with Randle scoring 44 points in Big D.

Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said in early March that Randle is having an « All-NBA season ». That honor isn’t widely recognized, but it is a bigger accomplishment than All-Star as each All-NBA selection is considered one of the top 15 players in the league. In particular, Randle would be in the top six strikers.

The awards would continue to come after Randle first became an All-Star in March. He has also emerged as the leading candidate for Most Enhanced Player.

However, a greater honor would be his selection as a forward on one of the three All-NBA teams. LeBron James is a given despite his absence with a hamstring injury, as is Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard.

After these three, Randle Zion Williamson, who visits the garden on Sunday, could beat for the second team if the pelicans don’t play a part the postseason and the Knicks landed in 6th place in the Eastern Conference.

Jayson Taytum, Jaylen Brown and Jimmy Butler are candidates for the third team. Kevin Durant hasn’t played enough games to be a real consideration.

Randle has five triple doubles, averaging 23.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists while he was 41 Percent of the 3-point range shoots. He also doesn’t get enough credit for his durability, despite having played as the Knicks iron horse in 56 of 57 games.

His game and deep shooting are the two elements that make him into his seventh season at the age of 26 a budding superstar.

In his last three games, playing against two of his previous teams, the Lakers and Pelicans, and then playing in his hometown of Dallas, Randle averaged 36.7 points, 9, 3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and shot 52 percent out of 3-point range.

Due to HIPAA laws, the Knicks declined to comment when Alec Burks was quarantined in Dallas due to COVID-19 protocols had to be when the team flew home on Saturday. Burks is officially approved for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.

Earl Monroe, Knicks legend, recently joined Twitter and already has an advantage. After Randle surpassed Kristaps Porzingis in every category on Friday, Monroe tweeted: « Is it just me, or has Porzingis gone from being a franchise player with Knicks to a functional big with the Mavs? »
