Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike Penberthy said superstar LeBron James should return to the line-up soon.
36-year-old James has not played since his ankle injury against the Atlanta Hawks on March 20.
The Lakers have dropped into the overall standings without James as they are currently number 5 in the world with a record of 35-24 Western Conference.
However, if James’ return comes « soon, » he could help the Lakers make up some ground in the final weeks of the 2020-21 season.
This season, James averages 25 , 4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game while shooting 51.3 percent off the field.
The Lakers have already welcomed Anthony Davis back into the line-up against the Dallas Mavericks and are with James on the mend almost at full strength.
Los Angeles hopes both superstars are healthy for the playoffs to claim another NBA title.
