As seen in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page, Maurizio Sarri’s team will face the Dutch club in a friendly against the Dutch club on Saturday, August 7th at 7.30 p.m. local time at De Grolsch Veste in the Netherlands.
The preparation for the Biancocelesti season begins tomorrow when the team leaves for their training camp in Auronzo di Cadore. They stay there until July 18, when they briefly return to Rome before leaving for Germany.
Last season Twente finished 10th in the Eredivisie with 41 points, 30 points behind 3rd place AZ Alkmaar.
Sarri will use the friendly matches this summer to fully evaluate the squad and its players and to achieve a largely consistent starting XI before the start of next season.
Certain players are expected to be key players in Sarris 4-3-3 including Luis Alberto, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile.
