Jamie Vardy ended his two-month goal drought when Leicester cemented a place in the Champions League by overtaking West Brom.

Striker Vardy, who has not scored in his last eleven games started a 3-0 win to bring the Baggies closer to the fall.

The formally strong Kelechi Iheanacho and Jonny Evans also scored goals against their former club in the first half to defeat the Foxes, who were in The Premier League continue to be third, four points ahead of fifth West Ham.

The overtaken Albion, nine points from safety, saw their hopes of survival had taken a detrimental blow and had to face Mbaye’s early misstep Regret Diagne.

After reaching In the first FA Cup final in 52 years on Sunday, the Foxes should have resumed after three minutes.

Conor Townsend’s mistake allowed Iheanacho to go through without a mistake, but the striker – with 12 goals in his last 12 games – had a heavy touch that allowed Sam Johnstone to force him far.

Wesley Forfana’s poor head fell nicely on Matheus Pereira, who found Diagne calm six yards away, only the striker completely kicked Missed.

Leicester survived and took command with two quick hits when Vardy put an end to his long wait for a goal after 23 minutes.

The pass from Youri Tielemans split the Albion defense for Timothy Castagne to clear and find Vardy for his 15th goal of the season, but only a second goal in 20 games.

It was 2-0 three minutes later when Callum Robinson perfectly deflected Tielemans’s corner to give Evans a header from six M. etern pounded home.

The Foxes threatened to riot and James Maddison sent Castagne away, but the left-back pounded the post before Maddison tested Johnstone from a distance.

The baggies were remarkably open, reminiscent of 19 Conceded goals in Allardyce’s first five home games. Leicester finished the game nine minutes before break.

Vardy slipped past Townsend and knocked off Iheanacho, who continued his hot phase by shooting on the roof of the net.

It was seconds before Pereira’s corner reached the top of Leicester’s bar but West Brom had no going back.

The Nigerian international Iheanacho shot past shortly afterwards while Matt Phillips drove to Kasper Schmeichel’s rare Albion opening.

The Foxes the visitors had blown away and they chased the Baggies on after the break when Dara O’Shea distracted Iheanacho’s crossing.
