Leona Maguire stays in the final of the Meijer LPGA Classic on Saturday despite an excellent 62 from Nelly Korda.
Korda, a four-time LPGA Tour winner, carded just six pars and a single bogey on her 18 holes in Grand Rapids.Three consecutive birdies at the start and end of her round resulted in her being 20 under for the tournament advanced and the dropped shot on the 11th was the only stain on her book.
The Irish Maguire went in the 70s, reached the turn with a par 36 and took two strokes to finish second with 17 under.
The English duo Georgia Hall and Charley Hull are six beats away from the pace and are tied in fifth place.
