CM – Lismore one of four test areas for the digital COVID vaccination card

In a joint announcement by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole and Minister for Digital and Customer Service Victor Dominello, Lismore’s « customers » will be the first to show their COVID-19 digital vaccination card in the View NSW app service.

While the NSW government’s pilot for the technology is ongoing, three other areas besides Lismore have been selected for testing including Tamworth, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga.

The deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said the regional pilot starting Monday will focus on staff and visitors from a number of clubs and elderly care facilities as well as selected taxi companies.

« Up to 500 customers selected by the companies involved, will participate in the pilot project in Tamworth, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga and Lismore, « said Mr. Toole

The Minister for Digital and Customer Service, Victor Dominello, said it was currently possible To show your vaccination card, but since the ServiceNSW app is used by over 6 million people, this is a smart additional service for the citizens of NSW.
